When recent college graduate Carnell drops at a graduation party from internal shocks, he is rushed to Princeton Plainsboro Hospital. With his father Ken at his bedside, it becomes apparent the two have not been truthful with each other in their lives and their major trust issues affect how the medical team gets the information it needs to help solve Carnell's case. Carnell soon develops other symptoms, and House's team suspects it might be from a Spring Break trip out of the country, but have to dig deeper to get all the information. Meanwhile, House has his own issues with his father and is trying unsuccessfully to get out of a dinner engagement with his parents when they arrive in town in "Daddy's Boy" .

House said his father was like a human lie detector... wouldn't let him get away with much. And wasn't he like some army dude? So obviously pretty strict. Then Wilson tried to explain it to Cameron - House's father doesn't like to see him miserable, or something, and House can pick up on that. There was also some comment that House's father made about him parking his bike in the disabled zone... so there's something to do with that, I guess.
You know, the mum looks kinda young to be House's mother! I mean Hugh Laurie is 47, so I'm guessing House is meant to be about that... maybe SLIGHTLY younger, but I doubt it. And the mother looks what, 60? That means she had him when she was like 13! So either she just looks heaps young or the dudes at House need another continuity coordinator! What do you think?
