The ketamine has worn off and House is back to using his cane and doesn't want to talk about it. His new patient is Ezra Powell (guest star Joel Grey), a renowned pioneer in the field of medical research, who collapsed in his lab. House puts Ezra through diagnostic rigors, but the team is unable to come up with a conclusive diagnosis, and Ezra's health continues to deteriorate. Becoming increasingly debilitated, Ezra ultimately demands that the team stop the litany of medical tests and help him end his life. The team members have divergent opinions on the morality of helping Ezra die, especially since the possibility of a cure is still in question. The moral dilemma of whether to assist in his suicide and abide by Ezra's wishes, or to ignore what their patient wants drives the team in very different directions. Meanwhile, the teenage daughter of a clinic patient has developed a crush on Dr. House in "Informed Consent"

Great episode, loved the interaction between House and the ducklings and even his scenes with Ezra. It's really going to be interesting about how things play out with the daughter of House's clinic patient. Why do I have a feeling that it may cause some problems later on.

Coz it will!! hahaha.
I saw some clips of this ep - it looks awesome!! I was on a House/Cam shippy site so I only got their interactions...
Is it just me, or just the clips, but has Foreman/Epps lost weight?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just saw this episode tonight - absolutely BRILLIANT!! I loved the whole ethical issue with euthanasia and the like, and it was a BRILLIANT piece of writing at the end where it turned out to be Cameron who helped him die. And the scene at the end where House puts his hand on her shoulder - OMG THAT IS THE BEST SCENE EVER in the series!!!! Isn't it awesome?? They BOTH grew up - and did you see House actually GENUINLEY SMILING a few times in that ep? Sheesh.
And that blonde girl is a COMPLETE WHORE but that is I suppose why House isn't all derisive towards her, because she discards social niceties. And maybe because he finds her attractive, which is just GROSS, House! Bloody calendar. I can't wait till next week.
I'm just loving Cameron more and more throughout the season - is everyone else?

at the end where it turned out to be Cameron who helped him die. Oh, really? You think?? I thought it had been House who helped him die I'm just loving Cameron more and more throughout the season - is everyone else? Yeah! I love her!!! She's more cheeky and more ironic but she hasn't lost any of her sweetness. She's great!!!! ;D By the way, Joel Grey (who played the patient) was brilliant!!! I admire him since I saw Cabaret

Yeah, it was Cameron! But I do wonder why House didn't beat her to it?

Yeah, I wonder that too. Now that I know it was her, the "i'm proud of you" part makes more sense.
