Oh my GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOUSE YOU'RE SUCH A FRIGGEN RETARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*sighs* We need to create a KHA I think, Annie.
GEEZE.
Although he was being kinda noble. Like I guess that little speech was his way 'a saying "I'm too screwed up for you - you deserve someone better"
But HONESTLY!!
I like Stacy. But maybe this is because I haven't seen all the eps like you guys. Maybe in 9 weeks I'll come back and celebrate with you.
So basically House is never going to be with anybody. *shrugs* Oh well - he's definitley self-sufficient!!!

Okay - I have finally seen this ep!!
Well, what can one say about 'Need to Know'?? Obviously something, because here I sit in English about to say stuff. A lot of stuff.
Okay, first we'll get the memorable quotes part out of the way.
House: Cameron, I love you. (and then him swabbing her - LMAO!!)
Wilson: Are you planning to ask her to leave Mark? House: Don't know. Cameron keeps my calendar. (hahahahaha)
Wilson: This isn't just going to go away. House: No, but maybe you will.
House: She's not going to leave him in the middle of his rehab. Wilson: She left you. House: Harsh toke, dude!
House: [knocking on Wilson's door] I know you're in there! I can hear you caring!
Okay - on to what I really want to talk about - House & Stacy of course! Grr!! A dumber shit couple I haven't seen since Woody & Jordan! OMG I was bawling last night.... WAAAAH.... House is such a dumbass! The dumbest smart person I've ever met. That was SO stupid. Yet SOO House.
Okay: As to what possessed him to do that~ (BTW let it be known that I think the writers did a fantastic job with this storyline it hurtled along brilliantly! From a producer POV I totally understand why they had to get rid of Stacy, coz, well, yeah.)
I think Wilson was right TO A POINT (what he said to House on the roof) But there are many mitigating factors I think that puhed House to it, or at least causative factors to the point of reasonable doubt.
#1. House can't stand to be normal. Its cliche, for him to be a normal person, with normal relatonships. (this expands on Wilson's theory) He's scared that maybe he'll change and change in such a way that he mellows, perhaps, and I for one don't want to see him mellow. It wouldn't make him him. Maybe Wilson's right, maybe on some small level he DOES want to be misrable, because that's what sets him apart. And regardless of what Wilson says, it DOES make him a better person. Definitley a better doctor.
#2. Weakness. To love Stacy, which he obviously DID and has for the past 5 years and beyond, was weak in his view. Did yous ee what kidn of person he waswith her? (Don't get me wrong, love-struck House was kinda cute) Everyone knew that he loved her, but he didn't acnowledge that he knew that they knew, for to do so would have been teribbly cringeworthy, both for us and him. Maybe it's the medieval principle that's embedded itself into his psyche: that to openly love is an invitation to expose said loved one to attack. And even if no one even perceived it as a weakness, even if no one knows that HE perceives it as a weakness, he still wouldn't be able to live with himself. Though, liek Wilson said : "You'd be surprised with what you can live with."
#3. In some small way, perhaps it was a conquest thing, Now that he has won the 'prize' so to speak, there's nothing challenging about being with her anymore. But I don't want to believe this of House, who certainly wouldn'y conciously think such a thing, so I won't dwell on it.
#4. Now we can move on to what House actually told Stacy. I think what he was trying to say is illustrated in the lines from the sone 'Halleluljah' that was played in 'Acceptance' (I think it was that ep...)
"I heard there was a sacred chord, That David played and it pleased the Lord, But you don't really care for music do ya, It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth, The minor fall and the major lift...."
In this, the songwriter acknowledges that who he is singing to does not find music interesting, yet he goes on to tell her all about this chord, knowing it does not interest her. House listenedto Stacy's 'curry' speech in 2.10 a little to closely, methinks. He put that together with all the other stuff she said, ie: "With you, I was lonely, with Mark, there's room for me..." - and gathered that he couldn't make her as happy as his love for her decreed that she should be. He can't change his ways, he can't change who he is, not for her, or anyone.
Poor Stacy, she was really in a pickle, wasn't she? I think she loves House more than Mark, but that lpve is paid for by her having to put up with House's 'shit'. He MIGHT say something insensitive, or start ignoring her. Who knows? House is House. Anyway, I reckon she loves Mark too, and it is a safe love, an easy love, a love that brings returns. Therefore House was 'the one' but se wants ALS boy (or whatever he ended up having) because, well, who can put their finger on it?
Or maybe the writers really are slashers and House loves Wilson too much. ROFLMAO - I don't really believe that though, lol, coz if loving Stacy was too cliche for him then homosexuality certainly will be.
As for Wilson - he was a BITCH in this ep! Geeze! House is obviously kicking himself silly, a raging battle is obviously playing itself out in his head, whether to run down and stop her leaving, or to stay and set her free. And then his 'bestest buddy' comes along and starts paying out on him! That's ALL he needs! He needs a good slapping, Wilson does. Rolling a joint for a patient - what's the world coming too?? (lol I thought that part was hysterical!)
OMG - and what was with Cuddy's little southern accent attempt?? Hahahahaha!! I didn't know Stacy's accent was southern!
I LOVE Stacy and what the writers did with her, and I was genuinely sorry (from a fan's POV) that she had to go, as she was a 3D character and could stand up to House's sarcasm, and pull her own wisecracks now and again!! Wooh! I did NOT find her whiny or annoying or anything that you guys said, I genuinley liked her! Well it's okay coz now my fav character list is kinda OK again haha, she and Wilson were vying for equal second fo a while there!! Neck and neck!! lmao.
As for the medical story for the week - House is right: Everybody lies!!!! LOL.
(Wow - I was SO bored! lol)
