Well I saw this forum was empty and well who can stand a empty fic forum?! So I'm posting the first little bit of a silly Chase fic I'm working on. But first thing I must warn you....I'm NOT a good medical writer so um yeah don't expect it to live up to the show! And well it's only my first attempt at House fic so please don't flame me too much!

Title: Poor Chase...
Pairing: None to kinda sorta Chase/Cameron
Summary: Silly little Chase torture hurt/comfort..thing. Chase calls in sick and House calls for a field trip.

Authors notes & Warnings: It's silly. I know. But I just couldn't get the plot bunny to unclench it's jaws from my ankle! *sighs* I stayed away from writing Medical shows for sooooo long and now here I am writing them. Oi! More notes ok so I'm not really a Chase/Cameron shipper but a comment I read on TWoP something like if Cameron finds out Chase is an orphan, all along in the world, he's one sickness short of being her perfect guy and she'll latch on to him like crazy and it just struck me as crazy funny and well thats kinda what I'm going for here. Scary!Stalky!Inlove!Cameron. WARNINGS for my majorly sucking at medical lingo(despite that I'm studying Medical billing...) and cold accent (You know...you're all stuffed up so words suddenly have d's in them and stuff?) and no beta.

House limped though the door to his office late as usual for him and took quick stock. Cameron answering his mail. Foreman reading a Forbes magazine. Chase no where to be seen.

He made his way over to the coffee pot and made him self a mug of coffee. As he took his first sip he eyed the clock on the wall. "So I see we're one duckling short. Hmm I'll have to think of whole new tortures for Chase for being late."

"He's not late. He's not coming in. He called in sick an hour ago." Cameron said looking up from what she was writing.

House focused on her. "Sick? That's never happened before."

Foreman raised a eyebrow mockingly. "Working for you for over a year and he's never called in sick? I find that hard to believe. Hell I have trouble believing he hasn't ditched work in just the time I've worked here."

"Sorry to break it to you but you're wrong. No wait I'm not sorry. Chase's never called in sick before. Never even seen him with the sniffles." House was getting that look. The look that said he was latching on to something and wouldn't rest until he got the answer he wanted.

"Stop it! Stop it with that look. Either Chase is ditching or he's sick. No mystery. Nothing to obsess over!" Foreman snapped when he caught the look.

House's look morphed from interested to plotting evil. "Cameron check Chase's files and find his address. I think it's time for a field trip."

Cameron stood but looks doubtful. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"

"It's this or clinic duty."

Cameron made a face. "I'll find that address."

I'm glad you like it so far. I don't know if it's going to be like...riffled with spoilers but I figured better to warn more then necessary then have a angry spoiled mob after me! Chase groaned at the bang on his door. He shoot it a death glare wishing away who ever was on the other side.

He was still wearing his pajamas and bathrobe, his hair was a mess, his nose was red, runny, stuffy, and sore, his throat hurt, heck everything hurt. He was cranky, sick and not in the mood for visitors.

He closed his eyes and forced him self off his couch when the knock came again. "Whod ever this id itd bedder be veddy importand!" He snapped as he yanked open the locks then gawked as he saw who was standing behind his door.

"Aren't you going to invite us in?" House asked smirking.

Numbly Chase stepped back letting them step in. He closed the door then blinked and spun on them only to have to lean against the door when the sudden movement made his head spin.

"Chase? Are you ok?" Cameron asked looking concerned.

"I'm fined. I jusd have a cold."

"Fine people don't add extra D's to words." House snorted.

Chase rolled his eyes and wiped at his nose with a tissue he pulled from his bathrobe pocket. "I know. Ids a cold. Whad do you expect? And whad are you guys doing here?!"

"Getting out of clinic duty." House said looking around Chase's apartment.

Chase shook his head and stalked back to his couch. "Well fined. You godt of itd. Dow you can leave. I'll even tell Cuddy you were here all day if you want."

House gave him a mock shocked look. "Lie?! And leave you in your time of need? We could never do that!"

Cameron nodded and frowned at Chase as she went over to him and felt his forehead. "You shouldn't be alone when you're sick."

Chase groaned. "I'm fined! Really! You can leave!"

House eased him self down into a chair. "Nope. Sorry you're not getting rid of us that easily!"

Cameron looked around as she felt Chase's forehead again. "Where's your thermometer?"

"Mer? I don'd think I have one. Why do you wand one anyway?"

"Not have one?! How can you not have one! And I want to see how high your temperature is."

"I nedder ged sick so I've nedder needed oned."

Foreman had made him self comfortable in a chair, pulled out his magazine and was ignoring them all.

Cameron gave him a disapproving look. "Foreman go out to my car and get my black bag would you?"

House snorted. "You actually have a black bag? Who are you? Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman?"

Foreman looked up. "Why should I have to go get? What the only black man here is you're slave? Why don't you get it your self?"

Cameron rolled her eyes at both of them. "Yes I have a black bag you never know when someone might need your help, and I have to make Chase some tea!"

"I don'd have tea I don'd think." Chase told her

"What do you need a black bag for anyway?" Foreman snapped.

"I have a thermometer in there along with most anything else I might need." Cameron answered as she dug looked though Chases cabinets despite his claim to have no tea.

"How can you not have tea? What kind of English man are you?" House snarked to him.

Chase moaned and covered his face wondering if this was God's way of punishing him.

Here's another small part. It's not much...but well it's something! Enjoy!

Chase slapped at Cameron's hands and glared at her. "Would you stop id! I'm fined!"

Cameron placed her hands on her hips and glared down at him. "Chase stop acting like a child! I'm just trying to take your temperature! You'd think I was coming at you with a rectal thermometer the way you're acting."

House and Foreman had found some chips and we're snacking while watching Cameron and Chase bicker. House's eyes brightened, "Hey Cameron why don't you-"

"Oh shut up!" She and Chase snapped in unison.

House looked like he was debating beating them with his cane but didn't do anything...yet.

Cameron turned on Chase again. "Would you just let me check your temperature already?!"

"No! I'm fined! I don'd need my temp checked!" Chase snapped back her her.

"Ugh! Why must you behave like such a child?!"

"You know what they say. Doctors make the worst patients." House commented.

Chase gave a frustrated scream and stood up storming out of the living room into his bedroom and slammed the door.

"..was it something I said?"

"Chase? Come out Chase! Come out of the Closet!" Cameron called.

"Chase would you just get out here already?" Foreman snapped.

"Yeah Chase come out of the closet!" House called out grinning totally amused.

Chase stared at his bedroom door in bewilderment. "I'm nod in the closet!"

"Chase it's alright! We won't be mad. No one will be upset just come out of the closet!" Cameron told him.

Foreman threw up his hands and with an eye roll flopped back down with his magazine ignoring them again.

"Listen to Cameron Chase. Come on out of the closet!" House called again.

Chase glared at the door and the people on the other side of it. "Would you people ged oud of my flat already?!"

"Chase you can't stay in there forever! You have to come out eventually!"

"No I don'd! I have a bathroom, I have fridge, and I have a TV! I nedder have to come oud again!" Chase snapped back at them.

"....that's a pretty big closet." Cameron said.

House gave Cameron a look a rolled his eyes. "This is what I get for hiring people because they're pretty..." He muttered under his breath.

Oh well on South Park there was this whole big joke about "Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet!" After he ran into Stan's closet after Stan became the leader of Scientology and said he didn't like Tom's movies and though the whole ep people are trying to get him out of the closet and he keeps insisting he's not in the closet so you know...gay joke? LOL it was a lot more funny then I'm making it sound!
